All EVEN drivers to compete at Rally Portugal
Rally Portugal is a landmark event for EVEN management. For the first time ever, the company will be represented across three competitive classes by its team of drivers. WRC for Andreas Mikkelsen, WRC2 for Esapekka Lappi and Pontus Tidemand, and completing the set, Ole-Christian Veiby in the Junior WRC.

Rally Portugal is a landmark event for EVEN management. For the first time ever, the company will be represented across three competitive classes by its team of drivers. WRC for Andreas Mikkelsen, WRC2 for Esapekka Lappi and Pontus Tidemand, and completing the set, Ole-Christian Veiby in the Junior WRC.
Andreas Mikkelsen and codriver Ola Fløene will compete in the WRC with the second generation of the Polo R WRC for Volkswagen Motorsport. Rally Portugal will be Andreas’ WRC event number 27 for Volkswagen, and he is currently 3rd in the championship standings.
Rally Portugal is also the debut WRC event for the new addition to the Skoda family, the Skoda Fabia R5. Two cars are entered in WRC2 by Skoda Motorsport, both to be piloted by EVEN drivers. Esapekka Lappi and codriver Janne Ferm in one R5, and Pontus Tidemand with codriver Emil Axelsson behind the wheel in the second R5.
Representing the JWRC, we have Ole Christian Veiby and Anders Jaeger in a Citroën DS3 R3T run by Printsport. This will be their 2nd event in their 2015 JWRC campaign, after ending 3rd in their first ever Rallye Monte Carlo earlier this year.
Rally Portugal takes place around Porto, 22 – 24 May 2015.
