First WTCR podium of the year for Kristoffersson
Johan Kristoffersson claimed his first podium of the year with the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR in Zandvoort, when his finished third at round four of the WTCR, Fia World Touring Car Cup.

Johan got off to a strong start when he finished seventh already in the first qualifying session and finished fourth in the first race, his best result to that point. In race two he claimed his first WTCR podium when he finished third. He completed the weekend with P7 in the third and final race.
“What an amazing feeling to be back at the podium, champagne celebration is never wrong! Immediately in the first quali I felt we were much more competitive than before. We have worked hard to make improvements, but I guess it also helped that we were able to take 30kg’s away from the car. Looking forward to the next race now, Nurburgring is a great circuit.”
