Pontus Tidemand is Sweden’s new rally talent. The 22 year old has had a very good season and leads overall in the Junior World Rally Championship. He has acquired a smart and efficient driving style, which has brought him closer to the world rally elite.
During East Sweden Rally, Pontus was the fastest car and took a clear, early lead. He was leading by a good half minute when he suffered gearbox problems and had to retire.
