Johan Kristoffersson scored his first WTCR-points at Hungaroring this weekend. – It’s looking promising, Kristoffersson explained, but we still have a way to go before it’s perfect from my side.

Competing in the WTCR in a Volkswagen Polo GTI TCR with Sebastien Loeb Racing, the Swede finished 8th in the first race, and scored his first 8 points in the championship. For the second race on Sunday he started 22nd, dropped down to 25 but managed to climb back and ended P22.

“The weekend started well and I did have some good pace in the final qualifying. For the second race the pace was not there, and we also had a puncture already on the first run. We also struggled a bit with the pace in the final race. We need to work harder on being on the pace at all time, we are not able to get it right all the time.”

Next race will be at Slovakiaring 11th and 12th May.
