Strong finish to the season
Andreas Mikkelsen and co-driver Mikko Markkula finished the season on a high in the final round of the World Rally Championship in Wales. The VW Motorsport driver won two speed stages and ended up in fifth place after spinning out of fourth.

Andreas Mikkelsen and co-driver Mikko Markkula finished the season on a high in the final round of the World Rally Championship in Wales. The VW Motorsport driver won two speed stages and ended up in fifth place after spinning out of fourth.
“I’ve had an amazing year, and have absorbed every second of driving the VW Polo R WRC. I can’t describe how good it feels to be back in a WRC car and driving for the best team. In Wales, I made two big mistakes that robbed me of fourth place, but I’m satisfied with the end of the season and am ready to embark on a new season with more experience and self-confidence,” Andreas Mikkelsen said.
