Veiby 3rd at Rallye Monte-Carlo
In their first WRC2-event in the new car, Ole Christian and Jonas today finished 3rdin the WRC2-category at the legendary Rallye Monte-Carlo. After 16 stages on snow, ice and asphalt, Ole Christian were very happy with taking the podium today.

“A challenging Rallye Monte-Carlo is over, and taking into consideration the timeloss we experienced due to our 5 punctures, I am very pleased with taking 3rdand also important points in the championship.”
Ole Christian and his new co-driver, Jonas Andersson, finished their debut-event in the Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 on a high note. Their strong pace today saw them finish with top 3 times on all four of Sunday’s stages.
“It’s been very challenging conditions with both snow and ice. Good ice-notes and smart tyre choices have been important. I feel we have made many good tyre-choices, but it’s not easy to know exactly what was the best choice all the time. The performance today have been very good, and today was also the first day we got to drive on slicks. We had good pace today, and a good feeling with the car, but most importantly we managed without any punctures. Very happy with that! Now we look ahead to Rally Sweden, where we will team up with the rally-cross Johan Kristoffersson!”
